Brooks Garner, a Massachusetts College of Art film major, recently created a 20-minute documentary to convince the public that hunting is not safe in suburban areas. His film focuses on the Mt. Pisgah Conservation Area in Massachusetts and is titled, “Mt. Pisgah: Enter at Your Own Risk.” The Northborough Conservation Commission manages Mt. Pisgah and hunting is permitted here with permission from the Commission. Garner believes that development in the area makes hunting on the land a threat to human safety. “My goal with this video is to strike a debate in Northborough and hopefully have a vote on the appropriateness of hunting at Mt. Pisgah,” said Garner. “If (hunting) is outlawed it would be great, but if not, at least people know about it.” Garner’s concern about the safety of hunting is unfounded. Conservation Agent Sue Brackett said there have been no reports of hunting-related incidents at Mt. Pisgah. CopyrightÓ U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance- www.ussportsmen.org
